The 'Adventure Park Playground" at Monash brings back a lot of happy memories for many Adelaide and country families. It was started in the late 60's by engineer, Grant Telfer and was developed over a twenty year period at an estimated cost of $150,000. Grant did most of the work himself and thinking back to some of the playground.

The record for a Friday night at the Monash club was getting something like 11 or 14 kids on it at once, I can't remember but it was double digits. it was absolutely crazy because if you didn't grab on properly you fell onto a roughly welded cage.
