This is a replacement for the standard Anet A8/A8 Plus X carriage for use with an E3D V6 hotend with no additional changes. It uses the original part cooling fan, direct drive extruder, and belt tensioner. The backplate matches the original, so some parts that mount to the backplate should be compatible. This carriage can also mount a BLTouch Z.

Attach the fitting to the extruder part before assembling the extruder parts and motor onto the frame. The drive gear on the stepper motor will need to be shifted back a bit so it is centered on the free wheel (use the smallest Allen wrench from the A8 assembly kit to unscrew the small Allen screws just enough to let it move).
